In 1959 Gennaro Iavarone, together with his wife Elena, opened a small butcher's shop in the center of the town of Casavatore, a place renowned for the processing and sale of meat. Thanks to the passion and commitment of the children and parents, the company has become a leader in the production of typical Neapolitan products including strong soup, cracklings, and lard. For three generations Iavarone has been a symbol of authenticity and Neapolitan tradition and has constantly sought innovation to make its products increasingly valuable and tasty.
